To Leeuwarden
Leeuwarden (Ljouwert) is a city in the north of the Netherlands, provincial capital of Friesland (Fryslân). From Schiphol Airport it is a 1.5 hours drive by car (149 kilometers), the train takes you there in a bit more than two hours. The conference venue Westcord WTC Leeuwarden is located just outside the city centre. From Leeuwarden Central Station, you can take the bus (6 minutes) or a taxi (4 minutes). Walking to the conference venue will cost you about 15-20 minutes.
By train
- From Schiphol Airport: Schiphol Airport has its own train station. Trains for Leeuwarden leave every half hour.
